Book Discussion - Go As a River
Let’s gather and discuss author Shelley Read’s international best selling novel, Go As A River. The book takes place on the Gunnison River and in Iola, Colorado, a city which is now submerged under Blue Mesa Reservoir. Shelley is a life long Gunnison Valley resident. This Wednesday book club is a free event but we ask you to please register so we have enough chairs. The book club will be at Lake City Arts.
Books will be on sale at Lake City Arts in mid-April.
We will meet Wednesday to discuss the book before Shelley Read’s lecture on Saturday, June 27. Stay tuned for Saturday night ticket sales, which will begin in late Spring.

Collage Class
In this class we will ‘paint’ a landscape or abstract painting using different papers. This 3 hour workshop isn’t about just cutting up magazines and gluing them to paper! You will learn about the different kinds of collage, history of collage and famous artists who use it. You will learn about art composition and color theory which can be applied to many other art mediums.

Hunny B’s Rhapsody
