otherwise known as Belly Dancing, has a
fascinating
history. This class is open to beginner, intermediate,
and advanced dancers.  Belly dancing is good exercise
and a lot of fun.  People of all shapes, sizes, and ages
are welcome.  Call the Arts Center at 970-944-2706
to sign up.

Beginner and advanced students are welcome to join

influenced by many of the folk dances of American
immigrants, clogging is a truly American style of
dance.  An interesting and well-written history of
clogging can be found at the
Doubletoe Times. “It’s a
lot of fun and it’s really good exercise,” says instructor
Linny Ramundo. For more information or to sign up,
please call Linny at 944-2408.
Lake City's own Lakettes Cloggers are a fun, energetic group.  Classes are
available summer and winter, and their performances are highly entertaining.
