Colorado Gives Day
Colorado Gives Day is an initiative to increase philanthropy in
Colorado through online giving. Presented once again by
Community First Foundation and FirstBank. Colorado Gives
Day will take place during a 24-hour period on Tuesday,
December 6, 2011. Donations will be accepted through
GivingFirst.org, with a goal to inspire and unite Coloradans in
supporting hundreds of local non profits.
- Colorado Gives Day is an initiative to increase
philanthropy in Colorado through online giving - 24 hours to give where you live
- 100% of each donation goes to charity
- New this year, $1,000 and $5,000 cash prizes
- The Incentive Fund increases the value of each dollar
donated - Colorado Gives Day is presented by Community First
Foundation and FirstBank - Donate online through GivingFirst.org. It's safe and secure
FirstBank Incentive Fund is a pool of dollars created to
leverage donations made to non profits though GivingFirst.org
on Colorado Gives Day.
- FirstBank provided $300,000 for the fund
- the FirstBank Incentive Fund will proportionally allocate
across all donations received on Colorado Gives Day,
increasing the value of each individual gift - Each donation received during the 24 hour period starting
at 12 a.m. on December 6 will receive a proportionate
share of the Incentive Fund - regardless of the time of day
it is received.
